The port de bras, or the carriage of the arms in ballet, is designed to frame and enhance the balletic positions. The two-day “The Art of the Port de Bras” workshop will feature lectures and demonstrations in the Vaganova and Cecchetti school styles, as well as exercises and discussions led by ABT William J. Gillespie School Artistic Director, Susan Brooker, and guest instructors Liudmila Polonskaya and Dr. Claire Spivak, PT, DPT. The workshop will be held at the beautiful studios at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts in Costa Mesa, California.

NTC Certified Teacher registration fee: $200.00USD
Teachers who complete the registration are eligible to bring their students, ages 14-18, to the workshop. Please email curriculum@abt.org if you plan to bring your students to the workshop. The fee for the student registration is $100.00USD.
